Special Thanks to Christy Newman for providing photos.

Full name: Jason Beck

Hometown: Butler, Pennsylvania (currently live in Hampton, Virginia)

Occupation: CNC Operator

Weight class: 100 Kg

Best Competition Lifts: Squat: 352.5 Kg, Bench Press: 245 Kg, Deadlift: 337.5 Kg, Total: 935 Kg

Favorite Lift: Right now the squat but it usually depends on which lift is coming along the best. My squat has been climbing quite nicely this past year.

Sports prior to powerlifting:
I played football in High School and my senior year there was a miserable attempt at the throwing events in Track. Who knew there was technique involved?

Hobbies and interests outside of powerlifting: Shannon, my beautiful fiance (wife after June 30, 2005) Movies, hanging out with friends, and I have been known to sneak a beer on occasion. Also, anything that has to do with Pittsburgh Steelers football.

Favorite musical artists: I pretty much listen to anything but for good lifting music you just can't beat Disturbed. I have listened to "The Sickness" before or during just about every workout since the album came out and it never gets old.

Favorite Foods: Chicken wings are a fine muscle building food. When they are served by Hooters girls they are much better muscle building food.

Most impressive feat of strength you have ever seen: Brian Siders Vs. Brad Gillingham at 2004 Men's Nationals.

Who has had the most impact on your career?
I would have to say Travis Werner. He has been a lifelong friend and was my first training partner.

Sponsors I'd like to thank:
