to everyone! On behalf of the International
Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and USA
Powerlifting (USAPL), I would like to
take this opportunity to welcome everyone
to the official championship web-page for
the 2006 IPF World Masters Benchpress
Championships that will take place
on April 19 - 23, 2006, in Miami, Florida
(USA).
The contest venue will be the James
L. Knight Convention Center and the
contest hotel will be the Miami
Hyatt Regency Hotel, located in beautiful
downtown Miami. The James L. Knight Convention
Center and the Hyatt Hotel are connected
with both locations just eight 8 miles from
the Miami
International Airport.

states Number one ranked bench pressor in
2005 in the 198 class. Joe broke the IPF
Master world record four consecutive times
at the 2005 bench nationals with lifts of
530-550-570-579...a PR day all after his
40th birthday. Stop by Saturday evening
after the lifting to hear a presentation
by one of the top drug-free bench pressers
in the world!

Vox Television to film 2006 IPF
Masters Benchpress Championships

in partnership with Jynx Productions, will
be coming to film the German Athletes at
the IPF World Masters Bench Press Championships
in Miami. Vox Television, one of the most
popular television stations in Germany,
will be filming the lifting as part of a
program that will be broadcasted at a later
date.
