Welcome to our website

It is my pleasure to announce to you that the 2006 USAPL Men's National Championships will take place in Miami, Florida, July 7 - 9. This will be the official qualifier for the 2006 IPF Men's World Championships in Stavanger, Norway.

This year, the USAPL Women's Open and USAPL Bench Press Open will also take place in conjunction with the championships.

The contest equipment will be of international caliber, and will include ER/Combo squat/bench press racks from Denmark, and calibrated Ivanko bars/weights, both on the competition platform and in the warm-up room. Barload software program and a computerized scoring system shall be used to direct and calculate the individual and team scoring for the championship.

Key and important, the championship shall be drug-tested in accordance with IOC/WADA standards. Also, IPF and national level referees will be in attendance for lifters that set either American or IPF world records.

The hotel accomodations will be the Hyatt Miami Regency, located just 10 minutes from South Beach and Bayside Market. The official competition venue will be the Hyatt Grand Ballroom, located inside the Hyatt Miami Regency Hotel.
