The 5th Annual NAPF North American Regional and Tournament of the Americas Powerlifting Championships will be held on June 21-24, 2007, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Central America. The annual NAPF Congress and WADA Anti-Doping Symposium will be held the day before the start of the championship. It is expected that this year, over 100+ lifters, from 15 countries throughout North and Central American as well as the Caribbean Island Region will be competing in this event. This year's championships shall be directed by the Guatemala Powerlifting Federation and Guatemalan Olympic Committee. The championship will be held at the Grand Futura Hotel and Convention Center located in Guatemala City. Hotel Facts > The Grand Tikal Futura Hotel is a five star hotel located in Guatemala City, Central America, just minutes away from La Aurora International Airport and in the Commercial and industrial area of the city on Calzada Roosevelt. The hotel is part of the Tikal Futura Complex, it includes: 193,680 square feet of office space, a 160 stores in shopping center, a Convention Center with exhibition and banquet halls, Fitness Center with indoor heated pool and sun deck.
